Aerial Tools was founded by Panagiotis Karachalios, Pablo Miguel Martínez Sánchez & Verónica Sobejano Paz in 2019. The company has developed an intelligent heavy duty drone with state of the art AI software, and a Fuselage made by modern materials. The drone is designed to fulfill a wide variety of tasks, mainly in the inspection and monitoring industries. The company is now looking for sparring on capital raising, sales channels and legal knowledge within international sales.
About the company:
With a core team consisting of an aerospace engineer, an electrical engineer, a PhD in Environmental Remote Sensing Aerospace Engineering and a chemical engineer, Aerial Tools are well on their way to become a significant player in the drone industry. The company disrupts the drone service market through the plug and play payload system that enables an easy integration and testing of sensors.
The company’s VTOL flagship-drone is disruptive because of it's payload which can carry an impressive 3 kilograms, enabling large cameras and sensors to be installed with ease in a modular way. The efficient design allows the drone to be airborne for up to 4 hours at a time, making it possible to cover large areas. Intelligent autonomous flight and vertical take-off minimizes human error and results in a very safe and easy-to-use drone.
Aerial Tools' ambition is to be the go-to drone distributor for companies working in the inspection and monitoring industry as well as within agriculture.
Recent challenges:
The company’s first priority is to find sufficient funding to start the production of prototypes, with the software already having been developed. They are still pre-revenue although letters of intent have been signed with multiple potential customers.
Accordingly, the company is looking for sparring on funding, mapping of potential B2B customers, commercial insight and legal insights within the aerospace industry globally. Furthermore, Aerial Tools is looking for sparring from candidates who has experience selling to companies in the agricultural and the inspection and monitoring industry.
The position:
We are looking for 5-7 candidates to be included in the Preboard for Aerial Tools. It is expected that the candidates are motivated and have experience/expertise in at least one of the following areas:
- Funding
- Inspection and monitoring industry
- Agriculture
- IoT-sensors
- Drones
- B2B Sales
The duration of the Preboard will be three hours and will take place on 9 November at 16:00 hours to 19:00 hours and will be held digitally. When the 3 hours have elapsed, the Preboard will be dissolved again unless participants make further arrangements with the company bilaterally.
At the day of the Preboard, Aerial Tools will present for 15 minutes, addressing the market and the challenges they face (sent to participants in advance). Based on the presentation, the Preboard will act as an advisory board and discuss the issues presented in the remaining time.

What is a Preboard?
Preboard is a new initiative from nBoard, which has the purpose of giving intense sparring on one or more issues, that a company has. The issues can either me a temporary or relate to the long-term strategy, from which a Preboard is a soft introduction for the company to try an advisory board and board work. The holding of a Preboard can either be digital or in person.
